Bangladesh cricket is currently in an odd situation as a number of cricketers, including the front-line players of Bangladesh, have called a strike to meet their demands which have not been fulfilled by BCB. Amidst this severe sort of crisis, the fate of the upcoming India tour is still uncertain.
Saifuddin ruled out of Bangladesh’s India tour, BPL as well
However, the newly elected president of Bangladesh cricket Mr. Sourav Ganguly has expressed his hope that the national cricket team of Bangladesh will come on time. If that happens or not, Mohammad Saifuddin, one of the leading all-rounders of Bangladesh has been ruled out of the upcoming India tour and his condition is so much in danger that he might miss the Bangabandhu BPL as well. Recently, it has been reported that the all-rounder has caught serious injury and he will have to remain off the ground for at least 3-month.
The chief selector of Bangladesh cricket Minhazul Abedin Nannu has confirmed the news and he also said that another player will be called to replace Mohammad Saifuddin in this series. Earlier, Saifuddin was having a tough time as he was fighting against injury in the last few days. He went for a diagnosis and that did not bring good news. Saifuddin’s injury has not been a new topic. He was reported injured several times during the World Cup and many found that a bit strange as the doctors related to BCB could not able to trace the origin of that. However, now it is medically confirmed that Saifuddin has injury problems and he will have to take rest for three months at least to come up again as a completely fit player.
Mohammad Saifuddin’s worry does not end here as he will miss the upcoming BPL as well. The radio scan, that he has undergone in Apollo hospital also revealed the fact that there is no chance now for him to be picked as a regular player in the next Bangabandhu BPL 2019-20.
